2013

Still aiming for 120 movies in a year!

January

1. Premium Rush (2012) [Watched this with Cel and it was fine, I guess. The villain is just too caricature for me but it is FREAKIN’ JOSEPH GORDON-LEVITT and his great acting (and physique and everything) so I have no complaints. Time well spent.]

2. Bachelorette (2012) [Watched this with Cel too and OH MY was it funny. It’s like The Hangover – Girl Edition. Sadly, they didn’t use James Marsden AT ALL, except for having a useless and too long bathroom sex scene with Kirsten Dunst. Poor baby. Still, Adam Scott and Lizzy Caplan gave the angst and a story arc to the flimsy premise. It was funny though, I admit. The dialogue was really snappy and hilarious. Plus, Rebel Wilson!

February

February was the most stressful month I think so I wasn’t able to watch or read. Huhu.

March

1. Upside Down (2013) [Watched this for Jim Sturgess. Happy to have done that because Jim Sturgess <3. But too many loopholes on this one.]

2. The First Time (2012) [FINALLY, I HAVE A COPY OF THIS MOVIE AND IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I LOVE IT TO BITS!!!!! Plus, the soundtrack is to die for.]

I also watched a play, Collection. Wee!

***************

I know, what a failure. I abandoned this blog and didn’t update this list at all. I can’t remember the movies I watched as well. I did remember watching these:

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013)
Warm Bodies (2013)
Beautiful Creatures (2013)
The Purge (2013)
21 & Over (2013)
The Dictator
The Conjuring (2013)
Insidious 2 (2013)

I’m still targeting at least 120 movies in 2014. Or even more. On top of 100 books. Woah.
